Apax has appointed Bérenger Mistral as a Partner on its Apax Development team. The Apax investment team is composed of 40 professionals, including 13 Partners.
Bérenger Mistral (39) began his career in auditing at Mazars, before working in Corporate Development for the Covivio group.
In 2006, Bérenger joined the investment team of EPF Partners, acquired in 2017 by Apax so as to create a small-cap investment arm.
Bérenger has used his expertise in the Tech & Telecom and Services sectors to support a dozen Apax companies.
He is a graduate of EM Lyon and holds a master’s degree in business law.
Since joining Apax, Bérenger has taken part in the following transactions:
- Acquisition of Rayonnance Technologies in 2019 (specialised in mobility and omnichannel solutions), and of Diapason in 2020 (provider of cash management software);
- Sale of JVS (provider of software solutions for local authorities), GMS (medical training & communication) and Squad (IT consultancy specialised in cybersecurity) in 2020, and of RC Concept (direct marketing and et digital communication) in 2018;
- Support for JVS during the acquisitions of StartAbi in 2018 and Sistec in 2020, and for RC Concept with respect to the acquisition of Luxsense.
