Paris, 28 October 2021. Apax is strengthening its expertise in environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues by creating a dedicated management position, held by the recently recruited Dominica Adam.
For the past 10 years, Apax has pursued a global ESG strategy. In practical terms, Apax systematically helps each of its portfolio companies to implement and follow a tailor-made ESG action plan and integrates ESG criteria into each stage of its investment process. It adopted the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2011, the biggest responsible investment initiative.
Dominica’s task will be to further integrate Sustainability within the core business of Apax’s portfolio companies in order to develop and explore new value-creation opportunities.

Armed with a Master’s in Environment, Development, and Policy from the University of Sussex in England, Dominica began working in Brussels, and later in France, on issues that were to become her field of expertise: sustainability, ESG corporate analysis and innovation.
After a working at Vigeo (extra-financial rating agency) as a senior ESG analyst, Dominica became in 2008 head of environment in the AXA Group’s Sustainable Development Department, then responsible for innovation projects for small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) and private customers.
