Paris, March 8th 2022 – Apax, one of the European leaders in private equity, has announced seven promotions within its teams to support the firm’s development plans.

DIRECTORS:
Blandine Cleyet-Merle, (34), graduated from the École Centrale Paris and then from the Stanford University in 2010. She began her career as an Analyst in the Sales & Trading division of Morgan Stanley in London. She then joined McKinsey where she worked as an engagement manager in the Consumer Goods and Pharmaceutical sectors, before joining Apax in 2016. Up to now she had been Principal, and she has been promoted to the position of Director within the Consumer team.
Martin Bouilleux, (34), is a graduate from the EM Lyon Business School. Having began his career in finance at Crédit du Nord, with initial Venture Capital experience at Céréa Capital, he joined Apax in 2018 within the Apax Development team. He has been promoted to the position of Director within this same team.
PRINCIPALS:
Thibaut Bourlet, (31), first trained as an engineer at ENSTA Paris and then studied at the National University of Singapore before starting his career at EY as a consultant in financial modeling. He then joined the Transaction Services teams of Eight Advisory in 2016. He transitioned to a career in the private equity sector in 2018 as a Senior Associate at Pechel and then joined Apax in 2021. He has been promoted to the position of Principal within the Apax Development team.
Antoine Desjeux, (29), is a graduate from the Audencia Business School. He started his career at Mazars, and then had his first private equity experience at Turenne Capital. Antoine was an analyst for EPF Partners in 2016 before joining Apax in 2017 within the Development team. He has been promoted to the position of Principal within the same team.
Arnaud Vigier, (31), holds has a Master’s in Management from ESCP Europe. He began his career in 2014 at McKinsey as Junior Consultant and then Associate. He took part in numerous assignments in the technology, banking and industrial sectors. In 2017, Arnaud joined Ebury, a FinTech specialised in payment solutions and forex-linked financing for SMEs. He joined Apax in 2018. He has been promoted to the position of Principal within the Tech & Telecom team.
SENIOR ASSOCIATE:
Thibaut Plominski, (29), began his life in Warsaw. He moved to France in 2011 to study at Paris-Dauphine, and then to the UK where he studied at the London School of Economics (LSE). Thibaut began his career in Mergers & Acquisitions at PJT Partners in 2017 before moving to Zaoui & Co the following year and then to Apax in 2021. He has been promoted to Senior Associate.
INVESTOR RELATIONS:
Antoine Grignani, (34), holds a Master’s of Law, International Financial Law from King’s College London, a Master’s of Banking and Financial Law from the Université of Montpellier, and a Master’s of Business Law from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He began his career in 2015 as an Analyst and then as an Associate at Probitas Partners in London, where he helped fundraise close-ended funds in Private Equity, Real Assets, and Private Debt. In 2019, Antoine joined Apax in charge of Investor Relations. He is now Principal within the team.
