Apax is breaking new ground for new parents by extending maternity leave by 4 weeks. This will take it to a total of 20 weeks.
This move goes hand in hand with the introduction of other key initiatives:
- On return from maternity leave, a “career management” interview between the staff member and her manager. The aim is to ensure a smooth return and to exchange views on professional development;
- Setting up a partnership with “Choisir ma crèche” to offer child care places to parenting staff until their child starts school;
- Setting up a partnership with “Kangourou Kids” to give employees access to emergency childcare.
Once again, Apax is proud to have signed up to the France Invest Gender Equality Charter and is committed to doing whatever is needed to achieve its goals.
