Paris, June 7th 2022 – Apax, one of the European leaders in private equity, recruits 5 new employees to strengthen its MidMarket and Development investment teams.
- Clément Barral : Senior Associate in the MidMarket team
- Baudouin Delcampe : Senior Associate in the Development team
- Antoine Philip : Senior Associate in the MidMarket team
- Laureen Pierre-Bes : Senior Associate in the MidMarket team
- Samuel Valdman : Associate in the MidMarket team
Clément Barral, (29), graduated from EDHEC Business School in 2016 and has an MBA and an MSc in Corporate Finance & Banking.
He started his career in the Investment Banking division of Deutsche Bank in Paris in 2016.
Then he spent four years in the Large Cap M&A team of Rothschild & Co in Paris, where he was involved in various types of M&A, LBO, IPO and restructuring deals. Clément joins Apax MidMarket as Senior Associate in the Services & Healthcare team.
Baudouin Delcampe, (30), is graduated with a Master’s in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University. He started his career in 2016 at Goldman Sachs in London as an analyst in leveraged finance and then associate in M&A. In 2020, he joined Leah.care, an e-health company specialising in deploying a SaaS remote consultation solution for healthcare institutions in France. Baudouin joins Apax Development as a Senior Associate.
Antoine Philip, (29), is graduated from ESCP in 2016. He started his career in Paris at Rothschild & Co, where he worked on M&A and financing deals for large companies and private equity funds in Europe.
Antoine then joined BCG in 2020, where he focused on advising private equity funds on due diligence and value creation projects for portfolio companies. He joins Apax MidMarket as Senior Associate in the Services & Health team.
Laureen Pierre-Bes, (28), graduated from ESSEC in 2018 and started her career in London in JP Morgan’s Investment Banking division, before joining the M&A team in JP Morgan’s Paris office in 2020. Laureen joins Apax MidMarket as Senior Associate in the Tech & Telecom team
Samuel Valdman, (28), is graduated from a Masters in Finance from Sciences Po Paris. He started his career in 2019 as Telecoms analyst at Lazard.
In 2020 Samuel joined Morgan Stanley’s Technology team in London, where he worked on various types of M&A, LBO, IPO and financing deals. He joins Apax MidMarket as Associate in the Tech & Telecom team.
