Paris, 8th March 2023 – Apax, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms, announces the appointment of Annick Bitoun as Partner for Debt Capital Markets.
With Annick’s appointment, the Apax team now consists of 16 Partners and the firm continues to step up its development and transformation projects.
Annick works alongside Chief Financial Officers of Apax’s portfolio companies throughout the detention period, addressing all aspects relating to financing, cash management and optimisation of financial departments. She intervenes across all sectors covered by Apax and is also responsible for the firm’s own financing arrangements.
Annick expanded her team a few months ago by bringing in a Debt Manager, responsible for financing new deals and external growth opportunities on behalf of Apax’s portfolio companies.
Apax was among the first mid-market funds to fully understand benefits of having portfolio companies accompanied by a dedicated profil for their financing matters, and Annick has fulfilled this role successfully since she joined the firm close to 10 years ago. Appointing Annick as Partner for Debt Capital Markets is therefore a natural and fully deserved step forward for her career at Apax.

Annick holds a Magistère in Banking, Finance, Insurance from the Université Dauphine – Paris. She began her career as Director in the Leverage Finance France department at Crédit Agricole CIB.
She then joined Etude Administrateurs Judiciaires Valliot Le Guernevé Abitbol during the financial crisis of 2007, where she was responsible for restructuring both listed and unlisted struggling companies.
Annick joined Apax as Debt Manager in 2014.
