Publication of Seven2’s 2022 annual report: Portfolio resilience and strong ambitions

Paris, May 25 2023 – Seven2 publishes its 2022 annual report.

In this report, find all deals of the year, current fundraisings and the strong growth of “Apax by Seven2“, our offering for private clients, notably via our FCPR Apeo.

2022 in a nutshell:

  • A new brand, Seven2, and new ambitions: to become a leading private equity player in Europe.

  • The firm carried out 5 new investments (Ceme, Mailinblack, Opteven, Pandat and Vitaprotech) and several growth operations via various build-ups (18 in total), for a total amount of €622m (incl. follow-ons). These investments have enabled Seven2 MidMarket X and Apax Development Fund to respectively reach 55% and 90% deployment.

  • An active portfolio: on average +24% growth in revenues and +13% in EBITDA, thanks to the organic growth of our companies but also to the value-creation strategies settled.

  • With its new “Apax by Seven2” label, Seven2 is focusing on its private client offer. In 2022, Apax by Seven2’s assets under management represented 10% of total assets. The aim is to have them account for 20% by 2025.

  • Funds raised for the FCPR Apeo now reach nearly €330m (of which €150m raised in 2022).

Despite the various crises we have had to face, the results for the year 2022 prove the resilience of our portfolio and the relevance of our investment strategy. At Seven2, we are ready to take our development to the next level and become a key private equity player in Europe. Our roadmap is clear and our team is ready to go.
