- Merger of HRK LUNIS and Grossbötzl, Schmitz & Partner in Düsseldorf
- Client Assets Under Management increase to approximately €7.5 billion
Munich/Düsseldorf, April 17, 2025 – Seven2 announces that its future portfolio company, HRK LUNIS, has signed an agreement to merge with Düsseldorf-based Grossbötzl, Schmitz & Partner. This marks another step in the active consolidation of the fragmented German market for independent asset managers. Through this merger, HRK LUNIS’s client assets under management will increase to approximately €7.5 billion.
Seven2, one of the leading European private equity firms, announced its majority acquisition of HRK LUNIS at the end of March this year. This transaction is expected to be legally completed (closing), subject to customary regulatory approvals, in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Grossbötzl, Schmitz & Partner Vermögensverwaltersozietät (www.gsp-d.com) is a well-established wealth management firm serving private and institutional clients. Founded in 1986, the firm has received multiple awards and is known for its strong client continuity and reliability, grounded in a clear value system. The merger with HRK LUNIS is still subject to the usual regulatory approvals, with closing expected in the first quarter of 2026.
