Paris, March 26, 2026 – Seven2, a Pan-European mid-market Private Equity firm, announces the arrival of three new professionals within its MidMarket investment team:
- Jason Diaz, Director in the Tech team,
- Guillaume Marquet de Vasselot, Principal in the Services team,
- Ugo Apuzzo, Associate in the Tech team.
These appointments enhance Seven2’s ability to accelerate growth for high-potential companies across Europe. By joining the MidMarket team, Jason, Guillaume and Ugo will expand Seven2’s sector expertise in Tech and B2B Services. These hires reflect Seven2’s ambition to strengthen its support for European mid-sized companies towards operational excellence, international expansion and accelerated sustainable growth.
Jason Diaz, (35), holds a degree from HEC Paris and studied Economics at the University of Tokyo as part of an academic exchange program.
He began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in Paris, after several experiences in mergers and acquisitions at HSBC and Goldman Sachs. In 2016, Jason joined Cinven in Paris, where he worked on several private equity transactions across sectors including education, services, industrials and telecommunications.
His experience in investment banking and private equity strengthens Seven2’s MidMarket Tech team and supports the firm’s ambition to identify and develop high-potential technology companies across Europe.
Guillaume Marquet de Vasselot, (33), graduated from HEC Paris and the University of St. Gallen.
He began his career in 2016 in the M&A division of Rothschild, where he worked on numerous buy-side and sell-side transactions. In 2019, Guillaume joined Weinberg Capital Partners, partnering closely with management teams to structure and accelerate their growth initiatives, and contributing to transactions in financial services, engineering and TIC sectors.
His experience in mid-market transactions and close collaboration with entrepreneurs reinforces Seven2’s MidMarket Services team in identifying and supporting the growth of ambitious European service companies.
Ugo Apuzzo, (28), is a graduate from Bocconi University and later completed the X-HEC Double Degree in Management and Entrepreneurship.
He began his career through several experiences in strategy consulting and M&A, notably at Cross Border in Milan and Roland Berger in Dubai.
Ugo then co-founded the sustainable textile startup Chiengora by YarnSustain, where he led operations and go-to-market strategy and raised a seed round with institutional and angel investors. Ugo later joined McKinsey & Company in Paris as a strategy consultant, advising major European clients on revenue growth, M&A and business building initiatives.
His entrepreneurial background and strategic expertise contribute to strengthening Seven2’s MidMarket Tech team in identifying and supporting innovative technology companies.
