Paris, 31 March 2026 – Seven2, a Pan-European mid-market Private Equity firm, announces the appointment of Francesco Carducci as Director AI within its Value Creation Team. Working alongside François Candelon, he will design and implement the firm’s AI transformation programs across portfolio companies. This hire reinforces Seven2’s AI deployment capabilities, bolstering its pursuit of operational excellence and long-term competitiveness for its portfolio companies.
Francesco Carducci joins Seven2 with more than ten years of experience in AI deployment. As a former Partner at BCG X – the group’s innovation division – he led major AI transformation programs for leading companies in the pharmaceutical, energy, and telecommunications spaces. His deep expertise spans Machine Learning, Generative and Agentic AI, with a strong focus on operational excellence.
Based in Amsterdam, Francesco joins Seven2’s “AI Squad”, a group of 6 experts working alongside portfolio companies’ management teams to drive measurable and sustainable operational gains. Together with François Candelon, Francesco will design and execute AI transformation programs across the portfolio, driving tangible improvements in how companies operate and compete.
Seven2 is rapidly scaling AI across its portfolio, with more than 20 programs already deployed and delivering tangible financial results, including EBITDA uplifts exceeding +20% in some companies.
Francesco Carducci is a graduate of Università Politecnica delle Marche and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering as well as a PhD in Industrial Engineering. He began his career as a Researcher, applying AI to solve engineering problems, before joining BCG in 2018, becoming Partner in 2025.
