Why did we invest?
CEME Group is one of the main independent player in the electrical and HVAC engineering market in France. This steadily growing market is underpinned especially by the focus on the energy and digital transition and the increasing regulations that accompany it. It also features a high depth of build-up opportunities.
The company relies on a very solid management team, who has managed to position the group in several buoyant and highly technical strategic areas.
How do we intend to create value?
Our investment case is to establish CEME as a national major player for electrical and HVAC engineering and maintenance. This will consist of (i) accelerating the group’s organic growth, in particular in the growth niches of data centres, logistics and energy transition, (ii) strengthening and densifying the group’s know-how and territorial roots, through an ambitious external growth strategy, and (iii) continuing to improve operational efficiency, particularly through digital and CSR levers.
