Lumion’s software creates high-quality, photo-realistic renders in real time through a sophisticated and user-friendly interface, making it an essential tool throughout the design process, from conception to ultimate commercialization. The company’s global distribution is supported by both a direct sales channel and an international network of resellers covering more than 110 countries. Since 2023, Lumion transitioned to a full subscription model and has already reached c.€25 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) with above 40,000 active users.

Why did we invest?

Lumion is a leader in a niche market linked to the growing AEC software environment. Our ambition, together with the management team is to create the leading 3D visualisation platform for the AEC industry, by reinforcing the operating model and boosting Cloud & AI capabilities, either organically or through tactical acquisitions.

How do we intend to create value?

Seven2’s investment positions Lumion for continued momentum in a rapidly expanding market, as the company embarks on future growth across the architectural workflow. Continued product innovation delivering best-in-class renderings, combined with ongoing professionalization in sales excellence, and customer success management will continue to drive rapid scaling of the business. Lumion will also consider targeted external growth opportunities, leveraging Seven2’s financial resources and extended network.
