Passions and inspirations
Having played sports at the highest national level has thought Berend to always go the extra mile and that a team is stronger than the sum of the individuals. Inspired by top athletes in different fields, he tries to transfer this mentality into real life where Berend is always keen to keep on learning and sharing new discoveries.
In his spare time Berend likes to be active, play all kind of sports, host dinners and parties for family and friends, or explore both modern and classic arts. Originally from the countryside in the Netherlands, nowadays he loves to get out of the busy city life and relax with family and friends on the golf course.

Education and experience
Berend holds a MSc Financial Economics and BScs in both Economics and Law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. After internships at Philips, EY and Gain.pro in Amsterdam, Berend started his London career in 2019 at Rothschild & Co where he first sat in the BeNeLux team and later in the Industrials & Business services team. He joined Seven2 in 2022.
