Florian places high value on quality time spent with family and close friends. Whether spending time in the countryside, discovering exploring unfamiliar places, or engaging in physical activities, Florian finds joy in shared experiences. Individually, he indulges in reading, with a particular interest for historical narratives and literature, and wherever possible enriching his intellectual and cultural horizon.

Education and experience
Florian has over 15 years of experience in private equity, incl. with Hg in Munich and Advent International in London. His focus as an investor has been on MidMarket companies, primarily in technology and tech enabled services. He previously worked for McKinsey & Company, Inc. as well as Chase Capital Partners.
He holds a MA in History from the University of Cambridge as well as an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economic, and a Ph.D. from the WHU-Koblenz. Florian joined Seven2 in 2023 as a Partner in the MidMarket team and is Head of the DACH region.
