Why private equity? Why Seven2?
Considered as an AI expert and with over 30 years at BCG, François is joining the Private Equity sector to bring his experience to talented entrepreneurs. This move comes at a time when operational value creation is crucial for the success of companies, and the AI revolution is transforming all industries, presenting both risks and opportunities.
As a pioneer of Private Equity in France with a culture that combines high standards and kindness to promote human-sized companies, Seven2 is the obvious choice for this new chapter in François’ career. At Seven2, François feels in good company!
What inspires François?
François is passionate about the “scientific approach”, which he considers particularly well-suited to his new mission. For him, it is an essential process for confronting reality and laying the groundwork for a constructive and open debate. He previously applied this method in his research on artificial intelligence, collaborating with prominent Harvard researchers while leading the BCG Henderson Institute.
Always eager to learn, François also draws inspiration from the world of sports (you’ll have a hard time escaping his sports analogies with the business world) and from studying diverse cultures, especially Asian ones (you’ll have a hard time escaping his Confucius quotes). This diversity of perspectives allows him to gain a more comprehensive understanding of long-term dynamics.
