She feels that her experience in the industry – and particularly in Tech and Telecom – are put to good use, along with her international experience.

What inspires Qiongyan Shao?

Qiongyan likes to put her curious nature to work in everything she does, whether it’s working on new investments or in her personal activities. She finds that the mix of her dual heritage – Chinese and French – brings together defining attributes that she sees as important in her work and personal life.

She finds inspiration in making an impact in the world around her, whether in people, the environment, or investments she is involved in. And that it’s her self-motivated nature that drives her to seek out challenges in life and her eagerness to explore new approaches in her work.

Education and experience

Qiongyan is a Partner within the Tech & Telecom team at Seven2 (fka Apax Partners). She focuses on investments in mission-critical B2B software businesses and tech-enabled services companies. She joined Seven2 in 2014 where she has been involved in numerous notable transactions including Vocalcom, Melita, Infovista, BIP, Odigo, Efficy, Odin and Infraneo.

A graduate of École Polytechnique and ENSAE, Qiongyan started her career in 2010 at Lazard in the EMEA Tech & Telecom group of the Investment Banking division.
