Paris, 2 February 2023 – Apax, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms, announces 2 recruitments for its investments teams: Adeline Marquette as Senior Associate and Arnaud Parry as Analyst, both joining the Apax Development team, and the recruitments of Manon Haefflinger as Compliance Officer and Xavier Gautrin as Debt Manager.
Apax’s investments have been growing steadily, and it continues to reinforce its teams in its search for new growth stories and as part of its efforts to help its portfolio companies with their value creation strategies.
Adeline Marquette and Arnaud Parry are joining the Apax Development team, Apax’s small-cap investment activity, at the time of the fund raising for its second vintage, FPCI Apax Development Fund II (ADF II)*. The aim is to raise 350 million euros for this fund. ADF II will primarily invest in French SMEs in the tech & telecom, business services and financial services sectors, as well as the healthcare and consumer goods sectors.
Apax also welcomes a Compliance Officer, Manon Haefflinger. She will be in charge of all the firm’s second-level controls and will ensure that the company’s procedures comply with the regulations.
Finally, to support Annick Bitoun, Xavier Gautrin is joining the Debt Capital Markets team. In particular, he will be in charge of working on the financing of new operations and external growth opportunities for Apax portfolio companies.

After completing studies focused on economics and finance at Sciences Po, Adeline Marquette, 27, began her career as an Analyst at Société Générale, where she assisted French key corporate accounts from the telecom and industrial sectors with their M&A strategy, as well as private equity and infrastructure funds on buy side transactions. She then spent two years at Riverside Europe, a US management company’s pan-European majority LBO vehicle. She examined numerous investment cases, particularly in the software and health care fields as a member of the team covering France and Benelux.
